Hi!
Small and short post about my last work, the tech priest dominus! This mini is a challenge because the details are many and it is very "3dish", so probably painting parts and then putting them together sgould be more easy. However here the result, hope you'll enjoy it!

Showcase: Skitarii Sicarian infiltrators

Hi! Very short post about the last unit of the Skitarii small army I've painted , the sicarian infiltrators: I  enjoy them a lot in painting but they are very fragile to work with!
I decided to make them more similar to the onager than to the "human" units to underline their machine nature.

Showcase: Skitarii army shoot

Finally I finished the Skitarii army!
This army has been a long work for me: first the massive use of red it is not very common for my standards (except the blood of course), then there were a lot of details and different surfaces to paint. I tried a black background, for a light grey one you can find pictures in past/future posts!
The army is finished: soon you'll find the showcase of the sicarians and also an army shoot, meanwhile if you are interested here you can find it and on this page all my minis for sales!

Finally I've finished this guys! Today a very short post about them: I'm working on the tech priest and I hope to finish him this week: finishing also pan-head men ( I really cannot remember their name) is a dream, but I think that for the end of the month, the Skitarii chapter is going to be finished: I have the space marines to paint!

Finally  some days ago I finished the second unit -first here- of the Skitarii army I'm doing, the vanguard. You have already seen that this is the second painting scheme, the red one.

Today, as promise, the wip of my small Skitarii army. As already said I decided to change the colours, because I like to try to twist classic painting scheme, and also it is a great challenge to paint red without being too much "happy".

Some days ago arrived a nice box to me full of new cold robot-humans, the Skitarii starter! It is fun to change style from a work to another, so I decided to be more classical with those guys, painting them without too much disorder, but also  giving a bit of my choices on painting, so few colours and dark look.

If the last week has been slow and lazy, this one has been a bit more productive.  I've finished the first three members of the second unit of my army space scum.

I continue to call them an army but I do not know where I'm going.

As you have already understood I'm working on a weird ensemble of minis to make somenthing of very dgd, applying somewhere a bit of fluff. As already said I really do not know where I'm going because I approached this project without any idea except to make funny minis to create and write some -simple- background.

Showcase: Skitarii Vanguard

Finally I've made the showcase of the first unit of 2016, and also the beginning of a new small army, the Skitarii Vanguard.
I've changed few things from the first painting scheme , like the colours of the parchment of the seals, a bit more of blue, some  burned metal in the backpack and some oxide somewhere, but you already know, having read this.
However here the results, quite satisfied by them.

Chronicles of Caelum VII, Chapter I: a new world

As already said I've decided add some fluff to my minis so.. I decided to change the way of showing my minis when I publish a showcase for warhammer 40k!

Added to the classical way of showcase, I inaugurate the Chronicles of Caelum VII, a world I would like to describe throught the minis I painted.

The project is not full of ambition but fulfill my desire of add some fluff to my works, and generate a common background to soje of my works.
Hope you enjoy it and if I make some mistake (I'm not a bg expert) or you want to say something, please write it!

Wip: Skitarii Vanguard and new arrivals

Hi to everybody!
Today a small post about some progress on my Skitarii project. I must find a name and some fluff for them, till now I've only thought that they are exploring a world after an exterminatus.
However here the guys, I've added a bit more of blue to the wires because the were too much simple also for my standard.

 And here new guys I'll paint soon.
I wanted for a long time to paint some nurgle stuff so I bought some plaguebearers: it is quite frequent that I've some whim and this time I decided to satisfied it!
I've several ideas to try, and I'm already working on them!

The last arrived are some space marine terminators.

I think you cannot believe me but in my life I've painted only one space marine (twice) so it is a great challenge to me painting the most iconic minis of WH40K.
I think I'll paint them as Utramarines trying to change a bit the classic colour scheme.

Any advice for those minis?

This is the real first 2016 post! sometimes some technical problems occurr!

However I've decided to start to paint the Skitarii. I passed more or less a month to decide how to paint them so-because I start to think how to paint some minis before I buy them -, after thinking and thinking (and thinking) casually (...) I decided for a dark and cold colour scheme.Finded it I really wanted to paint the Skitarii: does it happens to you that you want to try a painting scheme and you are not calm till you do it???
