Hi all!
Finally I've finished the s.e.l.c.o.s.!!what a long work, since the skaven abomination-search it on the blog!- I had not painted a model so big, and so complex.
However the minis id finished and I am satisfied: I had broke the airbrush, but the new pieces arrived fast and I could do the wings.

Stormcast Eternals: better photos

Hi!
My eternal fight versus doing a decent pic of the Stormcast Eternals probably is ended few minutes ago.
With this blitzkrieg po(p)st (nice joke...) I finally post the photos that represent better my job. I'm quite sad that I've sent to Natfka worst pics than this,but only now the idea"come on change background" arrives to my mind. That's life I suppose.
Ah lights and shadows -apart on the tissue but do not ask me why- are really painted, light underline only a bit the lights!
Lesson learned: change background if you are not satisfied. Now, are them better than in other pics-last post-?I really would like your comments!

Showcase : AoS Stormcast Eternals Lord Celestant and Liberators

This could be probably the last post before christmas and the last of the Stormcast Eternals!
As promises here some better photos of my small army  (here you can find the army shoot). The Lord on the Dragoth is one of the most difficult mini to photograph that I've ever met, probably because it is white and black at the same time, and I'm not a good photographer of course.

Finally I've finished the small army of Stormcast Eternals!! Today however the post is quite short with an army shoot, surely I'll do a post with better pics. I want to try to take pics with natural light but last days I was too busy-and a I am too busy still now!!!- to do them and here in winter days are short!

Wip: AoS Stormcast eternals lord Celestant

those days have been useful in painting, I've finished the Bloodreavers and started the lord Celestant on his Dragoth, the last piece of my small army of Stormcast Eternals.

As already said this model had been difficult to me to assemble and in painting is not very easy but the work continue well.

You have already seen my Liberators and their chief is going to be very similar logically.

Here, despite stereotypes say that my country is sunny and happy, weather is becoming colder and wet (about happiness, better not talk ahaha).
However painting is a good hobby when it is cold and during this period I'm not stucked into a "depression of painting" -when you do not have too much willing of paint and stuff-, despite I've several things to do out the hobby.

Firts I've primed Aenur, with two primer: I've read this technique somewhere and,due the fact I want to use a more or less zenithal moonlight, I tried.
Surely I'll do some Wip because I've some experiments to do.

Tutorial: How to paint grim Age of Sigmar Stormcast Eternals Liberators!

Hi to everybody!

As you have seen in the recent posts, my last work are the Age Of Sigmar Liberators.
I've tried some new technique and I've decided to use a small choice of colours, to make them dark and different from the other Liberators you can find -for example the GW's are bright and with a lot of colours, mine are the opposite-. I think also that on the battlefield a "black mass" of those bulky guys has a great visive impact.

I also decided to crack the armours to give an "old but strong " veterans feeling (and I wanted to experimentate that idea).

I decided to share my painting scheme hoping to be helpful. As you'll see, it is simple, fast but IMHO very effective.

Showcase: small unit of Stormcast Eternals Liberators

Hi folks!!!
Finally yesterday I've finished the first unit of Stormcast Eternals Liberators! As already said, it is not a complete unit because they are going to be half of a biggest unit of ten, and then I'll paint the "champion" riding that cool dragontigerthing!
Anyway this boys are going to be sold as usual, and I want to give to the buyer the choice to use them as a two units or a bigger one: I think I'm going to invent a subtle way to distinguish the two units.
So, they are somehow a complete unit , and they deserve a Showcase post.
Here the results.

Age Of Sigmar: Sigmarite Liberators versus Khorne Blood Warriors!

Last week has been very full of things to do, so I did not too much painting and stuff.
I've finished four Liberators but the units is not finished because I miss to paint the champion, so here some results.
Soon I'll make a Showcase post for them.

WIP: Darker Age Of Sigmar Liberators (2)!

Hi!
Finally some progress!
The more I paint those Liberators, the most I like to paint them.
Their wide plain areas are very cool to paint, and cracking them add a lot of fun to the job.
Lastly I've decided to use the darker colour scheme, because I've thought that I've undertaken that way (dark and monochrome/monotonous) so it was not "correct" to paint them with some light details.
And also this blog has dark on his name so, you know, in doubt, darker (or more gore or more dirty!!)!
